Dr. Bondar's Science Blog Interviews Co-Founder (March 6, 2010): Dr. Carin Bondar is a biologist and conservationist who is excited by the environmental and experiential education offered at Ocean Academy. Dr. Bondar interviewed co-founder Joni Miller for posting on the blog www.drbondar.com. The blog features cool science jobs, interesting scientific facts and anecdotes, videos and even "Nerd Corner" (where you will find Joni's interview!).

Moon Handbooks Belize 2009 Features Ocean Academy: Turn to page 89 of the popular Moon Handbooks guidebook, and you can read about how to give back to Caye Caulker - specifically about Ocean Academy and the Community Library. Ocean Academy co-founder Joni Miller edited the sections on Caye Caulker, San Pedro and Belize City. June 2,2010: YourOberver.com, Florida, "Ranch teen tackles education problems in Belize". Article about 4 teens who are fundraising for Ocean Academy. Mackenzie Yaryura, Meg Riviera, Sarah Stevens and Julia Nordhausen took their philanthropic project ideas to the international Future Problem-Solving Conference and won 4th place. Dr. Carin Bondar: Dr. Carin Bondar is a biologist who is excited by the environmental and experiential education offered at Ocean Academy. The blog features cool science jobs, interesting scientific facts and anecdotes, videos and even "Nerd Corner" (where you will find an interview with co-founder Joni Miller, 6 March 2010). There are also excerpts from Dr. Bondar's new book. It was named Blog Pick by Daily Planet's twitter (Discovery Channel).

Direct Abundance: Canadian not for profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of young people in struggling developing world communities through education, and poverty reduction. Co-founder Joanne O'Brien visited Ocean Academy in August 2009 and will return in 2010 to volunteer.

Joshua Berman: Writer of the Moon Handbook Guide to Belize. Joshua is an accomplished travel writer, guidebook author, television scriptwriter and Spanish teacher. His website is called The Tranquilo Traveler and contains samples of his travel writing, as well as tips for success in the travel writing business. Joshua and co-founder Joni Miller worked together on the 8th edition Belize.

Reef Diaries: Red Mangrove Eco-Adventures is located on Caye Caulker. They are interested in conservation projects and support Ocean Academy.

Treyton Williams: MTSU Computer Science 1150 Class Blog. Professor Williams visited Ocean Academy in 2009 to assess technology needs and partnerships.
