Tourism activities

These are some examples of activities your group can do when not volunteer working:

1. Guided tour of the Island by an Ocean Academy student (2 hours)           

  • rent a cruiser bicycle and ride together
  • rent a golf cart (you drive!)

2. Water tourism (full day)

  • Sailboat: Snorkelling at Hol-Chan marine park, Shark Sting-Ray Alley, Coral Garden, onboard lunch included, sometimes will visit Sea Horses
  • Motorboat: Snorkelling at Hol-Chan marine park, Shark Sting-Ray Alley, Coral Garden,  visit to San Pedro on Ambergris Caye (lunch not included), sometimes will visit Sea Horses
  • Fishing trip: Boat excursion
  • morning snorkeling at local reef, afternoon at outdoor pool resort, 2 drinks included
  • morning kayaking, afternoon entrance to outdoor pool resort, 2 drinks included

3. Active sport lesson: Join in our PE classes 

  • windsurfing
  • kayaking
  • yoga
  • team sports: beach volleyball, basketball, soccer
