Visitors to Caye Caulker

We need your help!  We are opening the first high school on Caye Caulker September 1, 2008.  We are a private, non-profit school and do not receive government aid and our purpose is to provide an excellent secondary education to any student who wants to learn regardless of economic ability or previous academic achievement.  Learn more.

How can you help?

 

Transportation.  We have several individuals and companies offering donations to us.  All we need is your help to transport them to us (shipping can take more than a month to receive, and is very expensive!).  Current transport needs include:

 

30 backpacks.  

Hardware for a computer networking system.

Uniform shirts.

Spanish-English dictionaries.

Variety of books.

 

Highest-priority donation requests.    

 

10' and 20' extension cords (total need: 20 10', and 10 20')

surge protectors (total need: 6)

toner for Brother MFC-7840W(we cannot buy this in Belize and we need to prepare workbooks for students)

laptop computers

large wall calendar (blank month; for use with eraser marker) 

school supplies: glue sticks, markers, pencils, pens, pencil bags, dividers, index cards, notebook paper

padlocks for lockers (total need: 45)

office supplies: file folders (hanging and vanilla), plastic travel file boxes, staplers, scotch tape, masking tape, duct tape 

journals

 

Tuition Support.

 

Even a $10 donation goes a long way to help us buy needed supplies and to increase our credibility for grant applications (a growing list of donors shows a growing network of support!)
